Meet Our Team
Profile 1

Donneil McNab (She/Her)

Co-founder & Lead Consultant

Donneil is passionate about providing specialized support for racialized students at all levels of the education system. She has been collaborating with relevant stakeholders to address systemic barriers that impede development and access in education and other sectors. She has also been focused on building communities among equity-deserving groups by creating and sustaining safe and inclusive platforms for intersectional storytelling. Donneil has led initiatives that include creating financial and other resources for tertiary students from underrepresented groups.

Ruth Nakalyowa (She/Her)

Co-founder & Lead Consultant

Ruth Nakalyowa has a passion for working with nonprofits, international development organizations, youth, and educators to advance EDI. She also facilitates conflict management sessions through an EDI lens for business leaders. Additionally, Ruth works to promote decolonization practices in the aid sector and non-profits. She has volunteer, research, and work experience in Canada, Zambia, eSwatini, and Uganda. Ruth is passionate about building inclusive communities and advocating for anti-racist policies.

Venecia Williams (She/Her)

Co-founder & Lead Consultant

Venecia Williams is a post-secondary educator working with students from diverse backgrounds. Venecia’s focus has been creating and delivering curriculum to foster intercultural awareness and sensitivity, assisting her students in developing sociocultural competencies and deliberately creating space for critical discourse on EDI related issues. Venecia has expertise in Universal Design for Learning (UDL), an educational framework that provides learners with equal opportunities to excel.

Lala Barka Mint Zahabi

Consultant & French Translator

Lala Barka Mint Zahabi is a seasoned CSR professional with a degree in International Social and Public Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Sciences. With several years of experience in CSR including EDI and international development, she has worked with renowned development organizations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and West Africa.

Bianca Okine

Administrative Assistant

Bianca Okine is a social development researcher who is passionate about criminal justice issues, social inequality disruption and equity initiatives. With aspirations of dismantling social, racial, economic and educational inequities, she actively supports and contributes to frameworks that provide access to various equitable opportunities in society and institutions for all individuals regardless of their identity. She is well experienced in administrative duties, conducting research, creating strategies and tools, and developing holistic methods that contribute to the strengthening of the most marginalized communities across Canada.
